first sentence is a German one:
Ich habe beschlossen, Margueritte zu adoptieren.

This first sentence should have been easy but wasn't. '"I have decided to adopt Margueritte." It is the first sentence of the book "Das Labyrinth der Wörter" ("The Maze of the Words"). To be honest I own the book but did not read it until now (but it got on the top of my SUB now). But I did see the film (with Gerard Depardieu) and liked it.
