Bookish Buddies

Since I started this blog I met so many wonderful authors, bloggers, readers and many of them quickly became dear friends. Sadly we can't all live in the same house/city/country/continent so we have to rely on Twitter, E-Mails and comments to keep in touch. I hope that one day we'll all meet and until then I want to encourage everyone who stops by my blog to go visit my bookish buddies and their awesome blogs.

To visit their blogs either click the button or their blog name.

Kat, my Aussie friend, living in the Netherlands, who read 177 books in 2012 (which left me speechless and that doesn't happen often). I have no idea what I would do without my constant discussions, rants, book talks, ... with Kat. When we haven't talked for a day or two I feel like something is missing. As you can see, I am a major Kat Fangirl :)

Jamie, the mastermind behind The Perpetual Page-Turner and The Broke and the Bookish, who is so lovely and fun to talk to.

Daisy, from Between the Pages, who always recommends books to me I love after reading them.

Celine, the brain behind Nyx Book Reviews, is lovely to talk to via Twitter and whenever there is a scandal in the book blogging community we (together with Kat) usually end up talking about something totally different after on of us mentioned something like "Lama" or "Horses".

Judith, from Paper Riot, is so super talented in blog design. I really adore her blog, her way of writing and she is an awesome Twitter buddy. I really really hope that we'll meet someday soon because I would love spending time her drinking a cuppa and talk all about books, photography and our mutual love for Veronica Mars (thanks for forcing this TV series on me, Judith).

Debby, over at Snuggly Oranges (how adorable is this name, btw), is another one of my favorite Dutch Book Bloggers and I love talking to her on Twitter. Her and my taste in books is quite similar and if I don't know what to read I am tweeting her and she recommends a DebbyBook instantly. In the last week I read two Debby Book Recommendations and adored them.

Vicky, who also loves London as much as I do is one of the first girls I started talking regularly on Twitter. I love talking to her regularly and cannot wait what she has to report about living in (near) London.

Ginger, who blogs on GReads! and reads and reviewed some of my favorite adult novels from 2012 on her blog.

Jana, the talented blogger who not only owns That Artsy Reader Girl but also created the background and graphics for this blog. She's one of the nicest girls I've ever known.

Alexa, the New York girl who loves to read, write and travel and who shared the best tweets from BEA last year. I lived vicariously through her.

Dani, who is the blogger behind Pen to Paper, who lives in Birmingham and who is incredibly lovely and sweet.
